Coffee, orgeat, strawberry vapour from the terrace neighbours and in the background the smell of the city. Easily invaded by the passing smells of travel, patchouli perfume, exhaust smoke, the smells are like the noises, sometimes shrill, sometimes fainter, but always passing.
